Patience sounds like such a passive thing.
Jonah sitting in a whale, or Buddha under a tree
But I see patience every day and it is active and strong.
The patience I see is more akin to Kings slow calm march on Washington.
Or standing in front of tanks at Tiananmen Square
Forcing others to think.
I see patience standing next to an angry child, letting them be angry and safe
Patience is watching a student struggle so that when they rise, the victory is their own.
Patience is preforming miracles with the tools at hand while demanding that we are given better.
Patience is teaching the same thing eight different way so that everyone really understands.
Patience is teaching those that are afraid to learn.
Patience is teaching.
